The Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF) invites Internship applications from unemployed South African graduates for a 12-month internship programme. This opportunity is aimed at equipping recent graduates with practical work experience to enhance their employability and career development.

Supply Chain Management Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in procurement administration, supplier management, purchasing processes, contract administration and supply chain record-keeping. The intern will support compliance with procurement policies and procedures while promoting transparent, fair and cost-effective procurement practices.

Risk Management Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in enterprise risk management, risk identification and assessment, risk register administration, internal controls and risk reporting. The intern will assist with monitoring mitigation measures and compiling risk information to strengthen organisational resilience, accountability and achievement of strategic objectives.

Human Capital Management Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in recruitment and selection, employee records administration, performance management, training and development, employee wellness and general HR administration. The intern will support HR policies and programmes while developing essential competencies for a career in human resource management.

Financial Management Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in financial administration, budgeting, expenditure monitoring, financial reporting, reconciliations and record-keeping. The intern will support financial controls, ensure accurate financial information and contribute to effective financial management in support of GPF’s strategic objectives.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Management Internship

Internal Audit Management Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in internal auditing, risk assessment, internal controls, compliance reviews, audit documentation and monitoring corrective actions. The intern will support audit planning, evidence collection and reporting while developing an understanding of governance, risk management and assurance processes.

Legal/Law Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in legal research, contract administration, legal documentation, legislative compliance and general legal support. The intern will assist with reviewing documents, maintaining legal records and researching matters relevant to GPF’s operations while developing competencies in legal governance and risk management.

Marketing Management Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in marketing administration, corporate communications, content development, digital marketing, social media management and event coordination. The intern will support marketing initiatives that strengthen GPF’s corporate brand, promote its programmes and projects, and enhance stakeholder awareness and engagement.

Stratergic Management Internship

The intern will gain practical experience in strategic planning, business planning, performance monitoring, research, data analysis and management reporting. The intern will support the alignment of departmental plans with organisational priorities, monitor strategic initiatives and performance indicators, and contribute to informed management decision-making.
