Purpose of the job

Ensure that relevant documentation is accurately cotempled and verified. Ensure that float/cash office security procedures are always adhered to

Requirements

• Communicate
• Conscientious (by the books)
• Handle routine work
• Thorough/accurate
• Attention to detail
• Minimum Grade 10 is essential (Grade 12 Advantageous)
• Computer Literate – Advantageous
• Ability to communicate in English

Location: Lotus River

Key Responsibilities

• Balance cashier’s daily takings.
• Complete cashier’s settlement sheet.
• Record cashier’s shorts and overs.
• Complete and reconcile taking sheet (if applicable).
• Prepare takings for collection.
• Ensure that relevant documentation is accurately completed and verified before collection.
• Physical banking of cheques and cash (if applicable).
• Order change for next day’s trading (if applicable).
• Takings figures communicated to support office (if applicable)
• Communicate discrepancies to management (if applicable).
• Ensure that float/cash office security procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Adhere to all float/cash office policies and procedure
