General Manger

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee the overall management, profitability, operational performance and strategic growth of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production, sales, customer service, logistics, quality and financial objectives are achieved while maintaining strong operational standards and compliance.

Experience within the glass manufacturing, glass processing, glazing, aluminium, construction materials or related industries will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the business.
• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor operational performance, KPIs and productivity.
• Manage budgets, expenses, margins and overall profitability.
• Drive sales growth and identify new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong customer and supplier relationships.
• Oversee production planning, quality, stock control and turnaround times.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Lead and develop management and supervisory teams.
• Manage employee performance, relations and development.
• Ensure compliance with labour, health and safety requirements.
• Identify and manage operational risks.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and quality standards are maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years' management experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior management position.
• Proven experience managing large operational teams.
• Strong financial and commercial management experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Strategic planning and execution abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Project management experience.
• Results-driven with strong accountability.
