Why It Matters
New Jobs from Nature
This project can create many new jobs in the Eastern Cape. It will bring money and work to rural areas that need it most. Jobs can include working in tourism, protecting nature, cleaning alien plants, and starting small businesses.
Help for Young People
Many young people in the Eastern Cape are looking for work. This project wants to train them for jobs like park rangers, guides, and ecology workers. It will give them real skills and a future in nature.
Communities Stay Strong
The plan says local people must be part of the work, not just watch from the side. They will get ownership and make decisions. This helps build trust and makes sure the benefits stay in the community.
